Desk report,
Sarjis Alam, the coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement, said that what is happening all over the country in the name of resignation of teachers is not acceptable.
In a message posted on his Facebook ID on Friday (August 30) evening, coordinator Sarjis wrote, “The process going on across the country in the name of resignation of teachers is not acceptable. If someone abuses the power of fascists and does injustice to other teachers or students, he should be systematically investigated and prosecuted by law. But taking the law into one's own hands and judging the crowd is never acceptable."
He also wrote that a relationship of respect and affection between teacher and student can make our learning environment beautiful and should not be one of bitterness, distance or fear. Many students may not know that they are being used by other teachers for personal or political gain. Legal action should be taken against those who are doing these things in unfair process for various purposes.
